St. Julia's Women's Club; Weston, Massachusetts; May 25, 1966; no. 27. <br/> Dimensions: L. 9 1/4" <br/> The spoons in this set are similar in form; they all have a slightly pointed bowl, a downcurved rounded handle, and a straight drop on the back of the bowl. The engraving is C, in script, incised on the front of each handle. According to Paul Revere's Day Book of 1796, these spoons were made for the William Cunningham family of Boston (Gebelein, July 3, 1958; September 11, 1964). |
