St. Julia's Women's Club; Weston, Massachusetts; May 25, 1966; no. 32. <br/> Dimensions: H. 1 11/16" D. of top 5 7/8" D. of foot 2 11/16" 3.2ozt. <br/> This small circular salver with an applied moulded edge rests on a small trumpet foot. A similar John Edwards salver is illustrated on page 102, figure 38, volume I, of Kathryn C. Buhler's American Silver 1655-1825 in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Engraved on the underside of the top are three letters shaded with diagonal lines, HAM. |
