Mark: Minott, upper- and lowercase script in a rectangle on the bottom <br/> Engraved: E H to E H H, B M H <br/> Exhibited: Early American Silver from the Collection of Cornelius C. Moore; The Rhode Island Historical Society; Providence, Rhode Island; January 1961; no. 22. Salve Regina College; Newport, Rhode Island; May 17, 1964; no. 103. <br/> Dimensions: H. 3 7/8" D. 1 5/8" 3.08 ozt. <br/> This creampot has a bulbous body with a scalloped rim and a high curved spout. The three scroll legs have notched feet and nearly circular body joinings. The double-scroll handle with grip joins at the top by a moulded triangular piece of silver which over-hangs into the mouth of the creampot. On the front of the body, engraved in script, are the initials E H to E H H. On the bottom, in block letters are the initials. B M H. |
