Mark: I T, capitals in an oval, left of handle near the rim <br/> Engraved: E B, A L <br/> Exhibited: Newton College of the Sacred Heart; Newton, Massachusetts; March 10, 1963; no. 36. Salve Regina College; Newport, Rhode Island; May 17, 1964; no. 36. <br/> Dimensions: H. 3 3/4" D. 2 " 4.035 ozt. <br/> This creampot has a bulbous body, flat moulded rim, and curved spout. It is supported by three scroll legs with semielliptical body joinings and notched feet. The double-scroll handle has an acanthus-leaf grip. Two engravings appear on this creampot. E B is engraved in block letters on the bottom and A L is engraved in script on the front. |
