H. 5 3/8" D. 2 1/8" 3.32ozt. <br/> This second example of a spice container by Burt exemplifies his later style. The baluster-shaped body sets on a splayed moulded foot. Burt also uses variety in his piercing as he did in the earlier pepper box. The high domed cover is divided into six pierced panels, three with a diaper pattern alternating with three engraved scroll patterns. The body is divided by a moulded rim and midband, topped with a bell finial. On the body below the rim in block letters is A G.
